Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday, which is the best-case scenario for restaurants, hotels and experiences and slightly harder for delivery-based gifting, since the buying window closes on Friday the 12th.
Two things widen the audience: Galentine's Day on the 13th, which has grown into a genuine commercial moment for friendship gifting, and Singles Awareness Day on the 15th, which works well for brands whose tone can carry self-deprecation.
💡 One planning note: Valentine's Day is not universal Brazil celebrates Dia dos Namorados on 12 June and Colombia celebrates Amor y Amistad in September so a global send needs those two markets excluded.

February concentrates a lot of intent into a few days, which suits high-visibility giveaways.
